For who knows me for quite long time, knows that cellulite is a problem. It effects most women young and old, slim and overweight. It is caused by poor diet, dehydration, water retention, poor circulation and even genetics.
A few things you can do to help cellulite:
- Drink LOTS of water.
- Eat a clean diet- limit sugar and processed food
- Have a regular Massage or body treatment
- Choose the correct exercise
We, women, all know how awful is to have and see the cellulite and we sometimes spend ton of money to find the right solution.
As a Holistic and Ayurveda therapist, I always search for ingredients that give the WOW result and this Anti-Cellulite Body Butter it does what it says.
For my clients, I develop the products according to the stage of the problem. If a client experiences water retention and cellulite stage 1, with swollen and heavy legs surely, I will use more essential oils as Fennel, Rosemary, Lemon. However, if we have cellulite stage 3-4, never treated I will intensify the ingredients with Cinnamon, Clove, Sage and Basil. All essential Oils help to improve blood and lymphatic circulation and eliminate toxins.
Stage 0: With this kind of cellulite, an individual cannot notice cellulite dimples, also described as the orange peel result, once standing or stretching out. Once the pinch test is done, you will notice wrinkles but not dimples. To perform the pinch test, you must pinch your skin at the buttocks, thighs or belly with your thumb and index finger, clarified by Marie Watkins in her book, Banishing Cellulite Once and For All.
Stage 1: In this next stage of cellulite, which is in reality considered Phase 1, an individual in spite of everything cannot notice cellulite dimples once standing or stretching out. On the other hand, once you conduct a pinch test, dimples are noticeable,
Stage 2: With stage 2 cellulite, dimples can be noticed on the buttocks, thighs or belly once standing, but not when stretching out.
Stage 3: With the last kind of cellulite, in Stage 3, dimples are noticeable either while standing or stretching out.
Painful cellulite might take place for certain individuals at Stage 3. An individual with painful cellulite might have elevated parts and nodules. It can signify either a dreary ache in the regions where it can be seen, or cellulite that is sensitive to the touch.

This lovely foot balm was created in collaboration with my Reflexologist Bertilla Fiorio. A couple of years of ago we organized a Reflexology event in London for my clients. During her stays, we thought to give an extra- special pampering to the clients, we needed a special cream and the Organic Rose Geranium Foot Balm was born.
We found ourselves researching between butters, oils and essential oils, after making several samples, three butters stood out, Macadamia, Kokum and Shea butter. The combination of these three with Castor Oil, Neem Oil delivered the most excellent nutriments to the skin. We, of course, chose the best organic raw material on the market.
The healing properties of the Kokum butter were known to indigenous people, it has a uniform triglyceride composition and therefore promotes regeneration of skin, it helps heal ulcers, is also non-pore clogging.
The research carried on which best essential oil would have given the more benefit to treat dry skin giving a balancing effect. Calming and grounding, Rose Geranium helps to reduce the feeling of stress and worry. It was and still is the excellent choice to uplift mood and promote feeling of well-being
Since then, the Foot Balm has been the most popular product, sold in several European countries to Beauty Salons, Spas and Reflexology Centres, people just love to have their feet pampered.

Aromatherapy and Pregnancy Massage
Do you really care about your appearance? Many people today are focused on better health lifestyle, good food and better skin products that can make them appear younger. However, we might have problems like stretch marks that can make us feel not confident to show our body. Women normally have this issues during their pregnancy or during a stress period where they lose or gain weight. Stretch marks happen when your body grows faster than your skin can keep up with and this causes the elastic fibres just under the surface of the skin to break.
However, the good news is that we can avoid and prevent stretch marks and here we find some simple and interesting ways.
Keep your skin moisturised
You are more likely to get stretch marks if your skin is not very elastic. If this is the case, you have to try an anti-stretch-mark body butter or oil to keep your skin feeling soft and smooth.
Massaging your skin twice a day with a moisturiser will help you feel good about your pregnant body, it encourages skin cellular renewal, it keeps the skin elastic and prevent stretch mark.
Shea butter and cocoa butter are two of the best emollients. Cocoa butter is a natural fat extracted from the cocoa bean and Shea butter is made from the nut of the karite tree.
Keep your skin Hydrated
During the pregnancy your body has an increased demand for hydration and drinking sufficient water (approximately 2 litters a day) is essential in order to help strengthen and renew your skin elasticity. Dry lips or throat, being tired, headaches, or a lack of concentration can be a sign of a lack of hydration.
Collagen and elastin fibres are necessary to keep the skin growing strong, and the stronger it is, the less likely is to get stretch marks. Consequently, it makes sense to eat foods that are rich in Vitamin E and C, which help the collagen production. Vitamin C in particular is a natural antioxidant that helps protect tissue from damage and Vitamins B2 and B3 also help promote and maintain healthy skin.
It is best to get Vitamin C from a natural food source instead of a supplement such as red and green peppers, guava, kale, parsley greens, turnips, and broccoli.
This will help keep your circulation pumping and your skin will perform better. Do cardio exercise regularly tone the muscles that can firm the skin and reduce the look of stretch.
